Communication design around a trade fair

Project description

FLEISCHER has been developing holistic solutions for the constantly evolving challenges of the professional world for more than 50 years. The product portfolio is made up of high-quality system furniture and individual solutions that improve the tangible quality of the workspace and focus on the individual.
As part of the Orgatec 2018 in Cologne, the leading international trade fair for office and property furnishing and equipment, FLEISCHER invited guests to a picnic in an inspiring office landscape. The guiding motto of the event was “Smart working. Inspired by nature.”, all new products were staged and presented in natural and pleasant atmosphere. Apart from the design of the new Frame accessory line, we have also supported our customer in the area of communication design. We have developed various graphic concepts for the online and offline measures based on the trade fair concept. The final concept was transferred to different media and implemented. The aim was to convey the motto “Smart working. Inspired by nature.” into the graphic media, such as the website, advertisements, e-mail signature and handout at the trade fair, and to optimally address the defined target group of architects and planners.

Invitation card

The prelude to the trade fair announcement was the invitation card. The aim was not to reveal any products, but to lure visitors to the trade fair with a teaser. The outline of the die-cut shows the product outline of the main character. It makes the audience curious and allows for a glimpse of the key visual. The key visual runs through all online and offline media and picks upon the idea of the rising sun on the trade fair stand.

Digital event announcement

The graphic concept was transferred to the start screen of the website. The key image of the landscape with the rising sun was also staged here in the style of the invitation.

Trade fair flyer

In order to provide information on the stand during the trade fair, we have created a flyer and a new products brochure. The landscape image was used in a targeted manner in both media.
Graphic elements from the invitation as well as from the brochure were used in the layout of the new products flyer. Therefore, the perspective of the clipping on the front page, for example, corresponds to the outline of the die-cut – the mystery of the desk shape is unveiled.

New products brochure

The new products brochure presents all the new, intelligent solutions for a better working environment. “Smart working. Inspired by nature.” provided the basis for the design here as well. The scenic mood image conveys the evocative atmosphere and invites the reader to turn the pages. Graphic elements and the use of typography along with the atmospheric clippings and interior renderings create a harmonious picture.

3D renderings

Office scenarios have been created for the optimal presentation of the products. This formed the basis for photo-realistic 3D visualizations. The aim was to show the new products in an authentic context with a feel-good character in order to address the target group successfully.
